Elmer the colourful elephant was introduced to me by my first teacher i worked with, Ms Helen! I can't remember the title she had read but i love this colourful elephant and it was the only book i chanced upon with elmer title... i had cut out squares of colourful paper to do a craft with baby R someday... to create her own Elmer! We yet to do it... daddy might carry out the activity with her on some weekend when i have given birth...
I did trace the elephant out for baby r to colour and i sure want to make many copies before she touches this master copy! This time round in the library i found another peek-a-boo book! Millie's amazing garden is another colourful book where Millie guesses whats hiding behind the flaps but it turns out to be something else and not what she thought it was!
When Millie tot its a beak of a bird, it turns out to be the ear of the giraffe!
Its wasnt the curls on the snail shell... its the tail of a cheetah!
so it was pretty fun to tease baby R with this book.
my gal have her favourite cartoons at age of 2years, 3mths old. One of them was Max & Ruby which she enjoys watching... she particularly like Max who tends to be cheeky... the cartoon ended a day before i went to the library and i had the idea of finding her Max & Ruby book to cheer her up and i only could find one title only! better than none... baby R was surprised and she loved that she could see these 2 bunnies in her books!
