baby A turned 6 months old!

1st April 2012, Sunday. Bright and sunny through the day and I totally forgotten about the photoshoot i had in mind! When gx asked whats the day going to be like.... i told him its stay indoors to clear stuff... till i was reminded of the shoot when baby R chose to watch her photo videos that strike me!

Still i was happy i realised early... but we didnt get out of the house till almost 6+! coax baby R to nap but she didnt till i got her dressed up and with tied hair... she decided to nod off on the sofa! But lucky the sky stayed bright at Marine Barage even thou it was close to 7pm! Its always good to remember to talk to the kids of the plans esp with baby R! she has a mind of her own but given a plan she still tries to go with it! 

We had the shoot before play and it was tough but we pulled thru quick shoot and sadly it should be more pics of baby A cos its her "big day" but its tough cos we have such an active big sis who was eager to play... but i was sure baby A enjoyed her view on the mat esp having the sky view and exploring her toes! 

the day was almost ruined by baby R cos she was so impatient and wanted the kite string and not allowing daddy to put it up into sky as gx had wanted... she was also prob cranky from insufficient nap! lucky i brought the hug bubble stick to divert her attention when we wanted to skip kite flying cos there wasnt much wind to support flying it high too.... with the bubbles she wanted to grab it off me and i was so mad cos i was so afraid she poured the bubbles all out which she almost did when we had a tug and war before daddy stopped keeping the kite and came to my rescue.... 

glad her cranky moment was kept short and as night fell... baby A wasnt comfortable with the darkness... she cried and i urged daddy and baby R to stop... when we went downhill... i fell. i scrape my left knee and was just so glad baby A wasnt hurt! Somehow my right ankle twisted and i fell forward! so i do have something to remind me when baby A turn 6months old... a mark will prob stay on my left knee! When baby A was still in my tummy i had a fall too! that was on my right knee and so gx told me, it now even! one on the right and now one on the left! 

i spent the whole Monday cropping and erasing lots of people off our photos and yesterday and today making the video! i love the songs! when we were there... there was a group playing the ukulele! daddy's little gal definitely melted gx! this is video is a good start for me... sadly this is the first video i did for baby A! i hope i can continue with baby R's half-done 2nd year video and hope i can embark baby A's birth to 5 months old picture-video projects and also more videos of her till she turns one, hopefully all done up before she hit her 12months old!

baby R's HUGE carebear

7th Jan2012, Saturday

after shichida, Gx came to meet us once he was done with his banking and for the longest time, baby R finally had a chance to be centre of attention cos baby A stayed home with gugu, soundly sleeping on gugu's bed... we brought baby R to claim her "prize' cos she had earned enough stickers for being good and helpful. 

gx say no more soft toy but seeing how much baby R loves playing with Uncle W's grumpy carebear, gx motivated baby R to be good, telling her he will buy her one... when we saw the carebears, at our eye level were the smallest to small sized carebears... and while we were looking at what bears are available... suddenly we hear baby R say... i WANT this!

when we looked down at her she has grabbed the biggest of them all.... gx and i were shocked! esp GX! he immediately show babyR the mid sized carebear saying its same size as uncle W's ... NO, daddy. I want this! i asked gx how much is the one he is holding on... $18.90. 

hearing that i asked gx to check the one baby R is holding on... then gx looked up at me and smiled... i was sure its way more... gx say its $1 more! i took it over and saw original price $59.90 but its on offer! lucky baby R took it out! for another $1 she got a carebear almost 10times bigger! baby R was of cos happy she got her HUGE carebear prize!

before we paid up, i was looking at the pink one and told gx should we get one for our baby A... gx say NO... when we got home, asking baby R if she is happy with her reward... she told us... i want to earn one for meimei... i was so touched by her little thoughts! she sure worked hard in getting her stickers but sadly when we finally made it to the shop... it was all sold out! ... baby R was so disappointed...

2011 last day

31st Jan11, Saturday

Last to arrive at the last party of the year! the gals had late nap and when i changed the gals for the party, baby A cried crazily non-stop at her top of her screaming lungs that almost drove GX to the wall and we almost didnt make it for the party.... baby A was supposed to be in her Ralph Lauren purple dress the xmas present given by Aunt O, all the gals were going to wear the same... baby A stopped crying once i changed her out of the dress and lucky i had a purple romper given by Ser for her to wear to the party!

Love my aunt's new shepherd pie recipe that has 4 kinds of cheese topping!

thanks to the yiyis who wanted to watch TV but they helped me babysit 

or rather try to catch my gal and make her behave while Gx and i feasted!

i was glad brought along the popcorn cos when the kids waited restlessly, i  suddenly remember i brought along the popcorn! jus 10mins before 12mn strike, when the mircrowave counted down, cousin L started chanting and my gal followed the countdown and the gals were so loud everyone in the house blurred off! then when we return the bowl back into the oven for the caramel to melt over the popcorn, the girls again counted down and they could stopped laughing and were all so excited to get their hands on the popcorn!

then in the dining, we have 3 cakes awaiting for our family's first Jan birthday boy!

when the real countdown said goodbye to 2011, 

the ships along east coast fired up flare lights to receive 2012!

Its my first time celebrating NY past mn at laguna!

it was a pretty sight but nothing caught on camera seems clear...

my mum was worried i will drop my camera cos i was carrying baby A in one hand

but i think she is more worried i drop my baby!
