i was waiting for this parcel to come... the first to confirm but it turned out last cos instead of registered post it came as normal mail and i was jus glad it made it cos i ever lost mail before as it was sent via normal post while i asked for reg mail... the service from Kiioo was great thou they made the mistake, they offered to refund me the postage difference and apologised, offered to send me the books if they were lost... i crossed my fingers for the parcel to come cos 2 of the books i ordered they had ran out of stock... when the parcel came, the stamp caught my eye cos the blue area of the animal was alit shimmering! opened my parcel and i was excited to see the books that i know will thrill my gal! tot this was a good title to buy and i gave this as my 3rd present to reward my gal for good behaviour in her new class with daddy! daddy said she did well today compared to the rest of the kids who actually stood on the table and chairs! when i heard this i oredi miss the mummies and kiddos from her previous class!!!
Today when baby R woke up, i reminded her that daddy was going to class with her and her reward would be going to playground with daddy if the weather permits... to further encourage her to behave and do well in class... i told her i was gog to give her stickers... to me i meant any stickers that i have on hand she can choose... but baby R told me specifically she wanted Huckle sticker... i got a shock! i never told her about the books i ordered... and becos of the hospitalisation, i didnt check the mailbox yesterday and with what baby R said, it reminded me to ask gx to check if the parcel arrived... mil helped me instead and when baby R was in class, i opened the box! they had included crayola crayons and a sticker for the child too!
then there was another parcel that the nice lady, not sure if she is the boss? she attended to me and i delayed the payment telling her i was in the hospital about to give birth in an hour and with the slow connection on yahoo in the hospital ward, i asked to communicate via sms cos i dun have an iphone... she was nice and sent me well wishes and i managed to get gx to settle payment and she was so nice to agree to send the books immediately cos she knew i wanted to give the huckle books to cheer my elder kid! She was sorry when her staff made a mistake in the delivery and she told me she would send me some gifts for my gals! that parcel came together with the slow-mailed books and when i opened up the box i was so happy to see a very sweet cupcakes romper for baby A and baby R got another book - Dora! Also there was another set of 4 pcs crayon and another sticker! i emailed to inform the nice lady i had received both parcel and i thank her for the nice gifts!
Lucky i ordered another set of books much earlier from opentrolley which takes alonger time to do their delivery... it came in time when i discharge, so i gave baby R another book 1st since Huckle was late - Harold and the Purple Crayon. This is one of baby R's favourite dvd story i show her... So she was super excited when she saw the book! She exclaimed HAROLD! she immediately sat down with mil to read while i ate dinner on the 1st day when i came home with baby A... 2nd day, the next parcel came and i showed her the 3 pairs of socks i ordered for her bedtime and she immediately wanted to put it on! i didnt allow but mil helped her and i was so afraid baby R mit slip and fall... but she was really happy esp with this blue socks over the other 2 pink hello kitty socks! the rest of the socks i ordered for her school days were pretty too and when i showed baby R she was thrilled!
out of the parcel, i got baby A a dress, 2 rompers and i had a book esp for baby A... baby R received and will be receiving more books as rewards in the coming months, to encourage good behaviour and hope to neutralise her fears over the new baby sister coming into our lives...we want her to feel the love we have for her... i hope we can settle down soon with baby A and have time to spend reading the new books with baby R... i want both my gals to be happy. the books that baby R receives in time will benefit her sister too!
